Fill Out Your FAFSA Online Here
Submitting the FAFSA
Students seeking Federal Financial Aid should complete the free application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) after October 1 online at studentaid.gov. GRTS’s federal school code is 005531 and priority submission date is July 1 for fall admission  For Missouri students, the FAFSA must be submitted by February 1 for state grants.

After your FAFSA has been submitted you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail or by email within a few weeks from the central processor. You will need to review your information for accuracy. If any changes need to be made you can make these. If you list Grand River Technical School’s Title IV School code (005531), your FAFSA information will be received by our financial aid office.  This information allows us to determine your financial aid. This information will notify you if you qualify for Missouri's A+ and Pell Grant.

Students selected for Verification Students will be notified by the financial aid office that they have been selected for verification on their FAFSA. This notification, sent by GRTS’s Financial Aid Office, will direct you on areas that need corrections made. Corrections to your FASFA are needed before any further processing can occur.

Financial aid awards will not be finalized until the GRTS Financial Aid Office has completed the student’s verification.
